Article's English abstract:

Due to the rapid growth of the world population, it is predicted that global agricultural production must be increased by 70 percent in 2050 to provide human needs for food. To maintain current levels of agricultural productions, application of a variety of conventional fertilizers in large quantities and for a long time in agriculture has caused globally serious environmental problems. Nano-fertilizers can be a great innovation for agriculture. In the case of nitrogen fertilizer that Urea is the most widely used, studies have been done. For example Hydroxyapatite nanoparticles, mesoporous silica nanoparticles and Urea coated with zinc oxide nanoparticles is used for slow release. Some studies also reduces nitrogen leaching and increased yield reported in plants such as tomatoes. These researches were in the early stages and still have not been proposed to widespread use by the authors. Also, the economy and superiority of these nano-fertilizers as compared to conventional fertilizers are questionable.
